But I do, I do love the world and the things in the world. The people, the forests, the streams, the animals and mountains, the land, sea and sky. I love it all.
Do I love myself ?
If I love myself then I release myself from attachment. If I love myself then truthfully, I do not love the world but that which lies beyond the world.
In music I sense it. In the awakened eyes of another I see it. At the edge of my being I feel it. I know it not by touch but by the ache of it’s absence and by my longing to fall towards it, into the mystery and there, to join, to be whole.
There, there it is, the truth beyond form, beyond feeling, the truth beyond the world. Sensed in the silent space between all things, all thoughts. To speak is to lie. To know, is to touch it. Silence is the only truth.
Do not love the world but witness it and in presence you will know that this is not it, not you, not the true I, not the I within The All.
